Funding

All three to four-year-olds in England can get 570 hours of free early years education or childcare each year, which is usually taken as 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year.

Some families are also eligible for these hours for their two-year-old children. The date you can start claiming is the term after your child’s third (or second if eligible) birthday.

At Barrowford Nursery we offer nursery places for those who wish to access their free funded hours.
